Multimedia Arts and Design Academy at SBHS



The MAD Academy provides a more responsive and supportive community within the larger Santa Barbara High School student population.  It is a privilege to be a member of the MAD Academy.  We have high academic standards and expect excellence from our students.  The MAD Academy enjoys the same basic state support that all public high schools receive and our success depends upon direct participation and support from the parents and the community. 

The Academy maintains two computer labs on the premises.  Each lab is equipped with 30 workstations loaded with up to date software.  The MAD Academy focuses on web design, digital imaging, animation, video production, video editing and photography.
